You can make one mind behave more like a crowd by producing estimates at different times or through different methods, then averaging them. The gain comes from letting partly independent errors cancel instead of trusting one noisy judgment.
Your answer today may be worse than the average of that answer and the one you give three weeks from now—even though both answers come from the same head.

A single estimate mixes signal with temporary noise: your current mood, framing, assumptions, and whatever happens to be salient. When you estimate again after enough time—or by a genuinely different method—some of that noise changes. Averaging the answers can then cancel errors in miniature, recreating part of the crowd advantage inside one person. The crucial ingredient is not the number of answers but their separation. If the second estimate merely repeats the first reasoning, correlated error survives the average; the benefit appears when your approaches are independent-ish enough to make different mistakes.

The three-week re-estimate
Make an estimate today, avoid anchoring yourself on it, and answer the same question three weeks later. Averaging the two answers can outperform either isolated judgment. It is a two-member diverse panel, with time supplying the diversity.

This is not a cure for systematic bias. If both estimates draw on the same false premise, remembered anchor, or unchanged method, averaging preserves the mistake. The Crowd Within works only to the extent that you create meaningfully different judgments—not cosmetic variations of one opinion.
Schedule the second number
For your next consequential estimate, write down a number and the method used, then schedule a fresh estimate after a meaningful delay using another route—for example, base rates instead of intuition. Keep the first number hidden until the second is complete, then average them.
