Followers become distribution nodes

The loop has three moving parts: an existing audience sees something, a fraction relays it, and those relays expose the work to potential followers. New followers then join the pool of people who might relay the next post. Growth can therefore become proportional to the audience already assembled: more followers create more opportunities for transmission, which can create still more followers. Unlike Preferential Attachment, where popularity itself attracts connections, this mechanism depends specifically on the audience carrying the content onward.
