Antifragility
Antifragility is the capacity to improve through small, survivable failures: absorb the feedback, alter the response, and become better prepared for the next shock. Eliminating every mistake can eliminate the learning that builds capability.
A failure can leave a system stronger than it was before the failure. That is the counterintuitive claim behind antifragility: the right kind of shock is not merely endured; it becomes training data.

The mechanism has three moving parts: variation, feedback, and adaptation. You make an attempt, the mistake exposes a mismatch, and the next attempt changes. Repetition without that final adjustment is merely repeated damage. This is why adaptive immunity is a useful parallel: exposure matters because the response is remembered and improved.
Trying to suppress all errors interrupts this loop. The overprotection-trap removes the small failures that could have built capacity, while defensive-reasoning can make feedback available but unusable. Antifragility therefore requires more than adversity; it requires shocks small enough to absorb and a learner willing and able to update.

Tomorrow, take one decision you have been postponing and turn it into a low-cost trial. Before starting, write down what failure would teach you and what you will change afterward. The aim is not recklessness or perfect execution; it is to make one informative mistake cheap enough to survive and specific enough to improve the next attempt.
